Participant dies in Madrid marathon

A participant died of cardiac arrest during the Movistar Madrid Medio Maraton half marathon in Madrid on April 8. 
The 35-year-old participant collapsed 500 meters before the finish line, went into cardiac arrest and died. 
Another 20-year-old participant also suffered a heart attack during the same marathon and is currently being treated in the intensive care unit.
