Paris court dismisses false claims about Brigitte Macron

Earlier it was reported that Emmanuel Macron was seeking to prove that his wife is not a man. The Paris criminal court has delivered a verdict on the case concerning the spread of false and insulting information about France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, on the internet. The court found ten individuals guilty of cyberbullying for circulating conspiracy theories on social media claiming that she had been born a man.

According to the ruling, eight people received suspended sentences ranging from four to eight months, while one defendant who did not appear in court was given a six-month suspended sentence. Some of the convicted were also ordered to close their social media accounts and attend special courses.

The court ruling once again confirmed that the claims about Brigitte Macron being transgender are false and unfounded.
