Open Budget Process to Begin on July 15
On July 15, the second season of Uzbekistan’s 2026 “Initiative Budget” program will begin. The stages are:

July 15 – August 3: project submission;

August 4–18: project selection;

August 19–21: promotion phase;

August 22–31: voting phase;
-
September 1–10: announcement of additional winners.
Winners will be announced on September 1 — Uzbekistan’s Independence Day (35th anniversary). In the first season, concluded on March 20, more than 3 trillion soums were allocated to 1,996 projects, including school and road repairs.
