Open budget has been hacked

The voting phase of the 2nd season of 2023 of the "Initiative Budget" process began on August 27. In the first days of the voting process, users complained that some technical problems were observed in the system.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, this situation was caused by the collection of votes through unofficial bots designed to artificially increase the number of votes, as well as various spam and hacker attacks.

"As a result of the restrictions imposed to prevent such attempts, a number of interruptions occurred on the information portal," the official message says.

It is reported that all necessary technical measures have been taken and the activity of the information portal (https://openbudget.uz/) has been moderated.
