Through telemedicine, patients are advised online in the relevant directions.
At the Children's National Medical Center in Tashkent, online consultation via telemedicine has started for patients being treated in regional and district clinical hospitals.
According to the center, online counseling is provided not only for patients in Uzbekistan, but also for patients being treated in hospitals in neighboring countries.
In particular, on September 18, an online consultation was given for a 2-year-old patient being treated in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Specialists of the center consulted the patient with local doctors and got acquainted with his laboratory and instrumental examinations, as well as his current condition and other parameters.
As a result, at the initiative of the patient's relatives, he came to the Children's National Medical Center for re-examination and treatment.
In addition, patients in serious condition who are being treated at the branch of the center in Khorezm and Samarkand regions were consulted online via telemedicine, consulted, and further examination and treatment measures were agreed upon.
