One-time financial assistance will be provided to needy families during the month of Ramadan

By presidential decree, 800 billion soums were allocated to the "Vaqf" charitable public fund. According to the resolution, families in the social registry category of "family on state support", families living alone and alone elderly people, people with disabilities, as well as families with orphans and children deprived of parental care will be provided with a one-time assistance of 1 million soums.
Also, needy families included in the additional list by the "poor family" and "neighborhood seven" will be provided with assistance of 500 thousand soums. It is determined that the number of families on this list should not exceed 20 percent of the number of "family on state support" in the region. The costs of treatment and surgery of 6 thousand sick members of the social registry will also be covered. Assistance funds are not included in income tax.
The list of beneficiaries will be formed by the National Agency for Social Protection and the mahalla system and transferred to social or bank cards through the People's Bank by March 1, 2026.
