One person died from fake alcohol in Ferghana

Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, informed Khabar.uz that on September 5, 2 residents of Koshtepa district were poisoned by an unknown substance and their health worsened and they were brought to the district medical association.

Also, on the same day, 5 citizens living in Altiariq district were poisoned by an unknown substance and turned to the district medical association.

A.D., a resident of Koshtepa district, during the investigation before the investigation. it was found that he colluded with a group of people, prepared alcoholic products by hand, affixed labels with the trademarks "AKTAU" and "KARATEU" to these products, and sold them to a restaurant and a family business.

One of the poisoned died.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Articles 186 and 186-1 of the Criminal Code, and the suspect A.D. arrested in procedural order. The investigation is ongoing.
