One of the largest marathons in Central Asia - "Yangi Nafas" international mass running competition will be held across Uzbekistan on September 3.

On September 3, the "Yangi Nafas" mass running competition dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held in 16 cities of Uzbekistan. In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and all regions, amateur and professional sportsmen of different ages and lovers of a healthy lifestyle will be able to participate in a large-scale sports event organized in connection with the dear holiday of our country.

A press conference was held at the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, where the issues of preparation for the upcoming mass running competition were discussed.

The official motto of the "Yangi Nafas" running competition is "We run together in the same country, at the same time, for the same distance, for the same purpose!" uniting every citizen of our country between the ages of 7 and 70, it more clearly reflects the mood and general atmosphere during the celebration of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the "Yangi Nafas" public running competitions, which are traditionally organized on the occasion of important state dates and international sports events, are in accordance with the "Concept of the development of physical education and mass sports in 2019-2023" of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. can be a clear example of the implementation of a large-scale state program adopted in the framework of the decision on the development of physical education and mass sports in the country, as well as attracting the population to an active lifestyle.

During the three years of implementation of the "Yangi Nafas" social project, in cooperation with the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan and the joint-stock company "Uzbekneftgaz", more than 700,000 people have joined the public running competition and continue to actively participate in sports events.

At a distance of 3 km, it is allowed to participate in sports competitions for 9 years and older. Age 14 and older to participate in the 10 km. All cities have a single start at 6:30.

The distribution of participant kits will be carried out by the Athletics Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 1-2 from 10:00 to 19:00 at the following address: I.Karimov Street, 98, destination - " Pakhtakor" stadium.
