The Spanish company Unvi is interested in converting Mercedes buses into electric buses in Uzbekistan. Uzbek Ambassador Farrukh Tursunov met with the company's CEO Eloy Perez to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of "green" transport and automotive manufacturing, and proposed a phased development of a joint project based on the Spanish SamAvto plant, taking into account competitiveness and local characteristics.
