Officials caught taking bribes in Kashkadarya and Khorezm

In Kashkadarya region, an assistant judge was caught taking a bribe, and in Khorezm region, an assistant khokim was caught taking a bribe. According to the State Security Service, an assistant judge of the Karshi District Court for Criminal Affairs promised to transfer a citizen working in the MIB system to another district through acquaintances, and demanded $2,500 in return. During the raid, the assistant judge was caught taking the money with material evidence.

Also, an assistant khokim of the “Ziyolilar” MFI in the Hazorasp district of Khorezm region was caught taking a bribe of $1,400, promising to enroll a citizen in the Tashkent University of Humanities. Currently, criminal cases have been initiated and investigations are underway in both cases.
