Officer who beat citizen to death in IIB building detained

On June 19, we reported that one of the brothers who had quarreled in the IIB building, dissatisfied with the sentence imposed on a 33-year-old man to imprisonment, died in the IIB building. It turned out that the cause of the death of the deceased, 43-year-old Dilmurod Yusupvaliev, was an injury inflicted by an IIB officer. Without taking the brothers into the interrogation room, the IIB officer bent over with the deceased's arms behind his back and hit him in the stomach with his knee. Then, the deceased knocked Dilmurod Yusupvaliev to the ground, hit him in the face and abdomen, causing serious bodily injury. Firdavs Muradullayev did not plead guilty in court. The participant in the incident, Dilmurod Yusupvaliev, stated that his deceased brother died as a result of beatings by the Internal Affairs Department officers, and the guilt of the Internal Affairs Department officer was confirmed by eyewitness testimony and other evidence.
By the court verdict, the officer was found guilty of committing crimes such as intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, abuse of power or official authority, and was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to work in the Internal Affairs Department system and in state-owned organizations for a period of 3 years, as well as to serve the sentence in a general regime colony.
