Offered salaries in Uzbekistan have declined

Between July and September 2025, employers posted more than 33,000 job vacancies on the hh.uz platform — 24% more than in the same period last year. However, the average offered salary fell by 20.2%, reaching 4.36 million soums. In Tashkent, the highest average salary was 5.08 million soums — but even that figure dropped by 41%.

The largest growth in job postings was recorded in Andijan (+25%), Samarkand, and Fergana (+2.7%) regions. The sharpest declines were seen in Navoi (more than twofold), Karshi (−92%), and Chirchiq (−21%).

Highest-paying sectors:
• Management — 8.94 million soums (−13.7%)
• Law — 6.5 million soums (−21%)
• Automotive business — 6.48 million soums
• Agriculture — 6.16 million soums (the only sector with no decline)
• Investment and consulting — 5.44 million soums

Lowest-paying sectors:
Security (1.59 million soums), insurance (2.36 million soums), and domestic services (2.4 million soums).

According to the report, the decline in salaries is attributed to seasonal factors, changes in job offer structure, and the growing share of mass-market vacancies.
