Now officials are being taken to prisons to learn lessons

In cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, preventive visits to penal institutions and pre-trial detention centers were organized for civil servants.

According to the agency, this initiative is aimed at demonstrating the serious consequences of corruption in practice and strengthening the commitment of civil servants to the principles of legality and honesty. During the visit, participants will get acquainted with investigative rooms, cells and other infrastructure facilities, and meet with persons serving sentences for corruption crimes.

The initial visit was attended by the leadership and responsible employees of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the Cadastre Agency. In the future, such visits are planned to gradually cover the heads of other ministries and departments, as well as employees in sectors with a high level of corruption risk.
