Now in France, smoking on the street will be fined

 

Starting July 1, smoking will be banned in all open spaces frequented by children in France - parks, beaches, bus stops, in front of schools and sports fields.
Violators will be fined 90 euros, which will increase to 135 euros if not paid within 15 days. The ban applies to everyone, including tourists.

This measure is part of President Emmanuel Macron's plan to create a "smoke-free generation" by 2032.

France has become the first European country to officially ban smoking on beaches.
