North Korea has allowed foreigners to enter the country, lifting restrictions imposed since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported by the Yonhap agency with reference to China's CCTV TV.
According to the publication, the North Korean authorities ordered all foreigners to be quarantined for two days. The TV channel reminds that since January 2020, Pyongyang has completely closed its borders due to the risk of the entry of COVID-19 into the country.
Initially, after the epidemiological situation in China stabilized, North Korea partially restored the movement of freight trains between Dandong and Xinyichu, and then the interrupted humanitarian exchanges resumed.
On September 22, the Chinese side informed about "positive changes" in the exchange and cooperation in the field of bilateral tourism.
