Yonhap agency reports that North Korea launched several cruise missiles towards the Yellow Sea, citing the South Korean Chiefs of Staff. According to the committee, the rockets were launched around 4:00 a.m. (00:00 midnight Tashkent time) and fell into the sea. South Korean and US intelligence agencies are analyzing the flights to learn more about the type of missiles. The Yellow Sea is located in the Pacific Ocean between South Korea and China. On July 18, North Korea launched a ballistic missile in the direction of the Sea of Japan, and the next day it tested another ballistic missile. First, the country launched this type of missile on July 12. The missile is believed to have landed in the Sea of Japan in Japan's exclusive economic zone. The United Nations reported that the missile landed in the sea in Russia's exclusive economic zone. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia rejected this information. North Korea's Permanent Representative to the UN, Kim Son, said in his speech at the Security Council meeting that the missile tests are carried out in accordance with the country's right to self-defense.
