Nipah virus spreading in India: nearly 100 people in quarantine

In the Indian state of West Bengal, five confirmed cases of Nipah virus infection have been reported. So far, nearly 100 people have been placed in quarantine. The patients are being treated in hospitals in Kolkata, and one of them is in serious condition.
