Nigmatilla Yoldoshev remained in his position

At the fifty-third plenary session of the Senate, the issue of the candidate for the position of Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan was considered and the Senate approved Nigmatilla Yoldoshev for the position of Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of 5 years.

According to the current regulations, the same person cannot hold the position of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan for more than two consecutive terms.

Nigmatulla Yoldoshev has been working in this position since June 2019. He took the position of Prosecutor General for the second term.
