Newborn baby thrown into bag in Tashkent

On January 15, a resident of the Zarbdor neighborhood of Yangihayot district found a one-day-old baby in a market bag on the street while going to work and immediately called 102. “I thought there was milk there, but then the bag started moving and I heard the baby crying. I immediately called 102,” the witness said.
The staff who arrived at the scene examined the baby and took him to the hospital. He was provided with the necessary medical care. Investigations are underway into the case, pending an investigation.
