New restriction for women in Afghanistan: education documents will not be verified

In Afghanistan, the practice of validating women's educational diplomas and certificates, including those obtained abroad, has been suspended. The Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refused to validate the documents of a group of women. Some women were told by the ministry that "women's documents will no longer be validated."

The Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has also instructed all universities not to validate student information to foreign organizations and universities.

Some of the prohibitions imposed on women in Afghanistan include:

🔹 Afghan women working in UN offices;
🔹 Men sewing women's clothes;
🔹 Women visiting male doctors;
🔹 Women going to the hospital alone;
🔹 Women visiting parks;
🔹 Families and women entering restaurants with parks or green areas;
🔹 Broadcasting advertisements featuring women's voices;
🔹 Women are prohibited from entering government offices without a burqa;
🔹 Women are prohibited from bargaining with vendors.
