New Heads Appointed for the Ministry of Energy and "Uzenergoinspeksiya"

In accordance with a presidential decree, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Energy.
Sherzod Khodjayev has been appointed as the new Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan. Consequently, he has been released from his position as Director of the Energy Market Development and Regulation Agency.

Sherzod Khodjayev served as Deputy Minister of Energy from 2019 to 2023. He subsequently headed the project office for reforming the electric power sector. Since 2024, he had been serving as the Director of the Energy Market Development and Regulation Agency.
Jurabek Mirzamahmudov had held the post of Minister of Energy since December 2022.

Additionally, Ahadkhon Isoqjonov has been appointed as the Head of the Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Electric Energy, Oil Products, and Gas ("Uzenergoinspeksiya").
Dadajon Isaqulov, who previously held this position, was relieved of his duties due to a transfer to another job.
