New Head Appointed to Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs

Lieutenant Colonel Oybek Abdukarimovich Kaimkhojayev has been appointed Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Khorezm Region.

Prior to his appointment, Kaimkhojayev headed the Department for Coordination of the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies in Yashnabad District of Tashkent.

According to available information, before being appointed head of the Yashnabad District department, he served as deputy head of the department for operational affairs. In June 2021, Oybek Kaimkhojayev was appointed head of the Department for Coordination of the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies in Yashnabad District.

He held this position until September 2026.

For reference, prior to the new appointment, the Department of Internal Affairs of Khorezm Region was headed by Colonel Abdumajid Shermukhamedov.
