New Director Appointed to the Migration Agency

Mukhsinkhodja Tursunkhodjaevich Abdurakhmonov has been appointed Director of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The appointment was made by a relevant decision of the President.

For reference, Abdurakhmonov was born on February 14, 1974, in the Fergana Region. He studied at Tashkent State University of Economics and also completed an internship at California State University in the United States. In addition, he studied for a master’s degree at Otaru University of Commerce and pursued doctoral studies at Hokkaido University in Japan.

Throughout his career, Abdurakhmonov has worked in the private sector, investment, foreign trade, and diplomacy.

It is worth recalling that the previous Director of the Migration Agency, Behzod Anvarovich Musaev, was relieved of his position due to his transfer to another job.
