Admission of first-graders to schools in Tajikistan will begin on August 1. This was reported to Asia-Plus by the press center of the Ministry of Education of the country.
To do this, parents must provide a number of documents: a student's personal profile, two 3x4 photos, a parent's application for admission, a child's birth certificate, a medical document, 2 copies of the parents' passports, a marriage certificate and a certificate of residence.
Before starting school, future first-graders from August 1 will take an introductory month-long course.
On it, children are prepared for the school regime, they have conversations with them, through games they make it clear how their time at school will now pass and other methods of adaptation are used.
The message of the Ministry also notes that this year children born before December 31, 2016 will go to the first grade.
If a child was born on January 1, 2017, they will not be accepted into first grade.
In addition, from August 1, in all schools in Dushanbe, parents of children will pay for the rent of textbooks by bank transfer. A little later, this rule will spread to the whole country.
To this end, a number of banks presented their applications and programs. Among them are Amonatbank, Smart City, Imon International, International Bank of Tajikistan, Humo, Dushanbe City Bank, Eskhata Bank and Tavkhidbonk.
