New appointments to several high-ranking positions have been made through decrees signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Specifically, Zulaykho Makhkamova was relieved of her duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women's Affairs due to a transfer to another position. Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova was appointed to replace her, leaving her previous post as First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency.
Muzaffar Komilov was relieved of his position as Head of the Department for Religious and Educational Affairs within the Presidential Administration and appointed as the President's Advisor on Religious and Educational Affairs.
Additionally, Sardor Umurzakov was appointed Director of the Strategic Development and Reforms Agency; Abdulla Abduqodirov had previously held this position.
Following his move to the new role, Sardor Umurzakov was relieved of his position as the President's Advisor on Strategic Development, and that advisory post was abolished.
