Netflix has filmed a film about Amir Temur

Netflix has completed filming on the film “Temurlang. The Rise of the Last Jahangir”. The project, which began in late 2022, tells the story of Amir Temur’s rise to power and his legacy.
Filming took place in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, with key scenes filmed in the areas where Amir Temur lived and fought. Experts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the United States worked on the film. The director is Jacob Schwartz, the screenwriter is Matthew Green. The role of Amir Temur is played by Christian Mortensen, Amir Hussein’s rival is played by Mahesh Jadu, and Aljay’s wife is played by Uzbek actress Yulduz Rajabova.
The legendary Nomad Stunts team animated the fight scenes. The film is currently in post-production, and the premiere is expected in late summer 2025.
