Netanyahu Warns Countries Recognizing Palestine

Ahead of the UN General Assembly, after the UK, Canada, and Australia officially recognized the State of Palestine, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on September 21 warned that measures would be taken against the countries recognizing Palestine.

Within the framework of the UN General Assembly, another six nations — France, Andorra, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, and Monaco — also announced their recognition of the Palestinian state.
