Netanyahu: The war is not over yet

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on October 16 that he would ensure the return of the bodies of hostages in Gaza and declared that the war is not yet over.
“We are determined to secure the return of all hostages’ bodies. The war is not over yet, but one thing is clear — anyone who raises a hand against us will pay a heavy price. We are firmly committed to achieving victory, even if it takes years,” he said.

According to the ceasefire agreement, Israel will hand over 15 Palestinian bodies for every returned Israeli victim. So far, 20 live hostages and 7 bodies have been returned, while the number of Palestinian bodies has reached 90.

Since October 2023, nearly 68,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s war against Gaza, and thousands more remain missing.
