Nearly 9 kg of hashish found in the trunk of a “Tracker” vehicle in Tashkent region

A person transporting nearly 9 kilograms of narcotic substances was detained during a special operation conducted jointly by the Border Troops of the State Security Service, the Tashkent regional department, and other law enforcement agencies.

It is reported that a “Tracker” vehicle traveling on the “Tashkent–Fergana” route was stopped at a road patrol checkpoint and inspected.

During the search of the vehicle, driven by a previously convicted man born in 1990, 1.72 grams of a narcotic substance were found in the cabin, and an additional 8 kg 913 grams of “hashish” were discovered in the trunk.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident, and investigative actions are currently underway.
