Navalny was allegedly killed by frog poison

According to The Insider, epibatidine was detected in biomaterials belonging to the late Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, which were exported abroad. The publication reported that several laboratory experts independently came to this conclusion.
It is noted that representatives of laboratories from Great Britain, Sweden, France, Germany and the Netherlands plan to issue a joint statement as part of the Munich Security Conference. Navalny's wife, Yulia Navalnaya, previously stated that biological samples were tested in Western laboratories. The laboratories conducted the study independently of each other and confirmed that Alexei Navalny was poisoned. Navalny died in the colony on February 16, 2024.

Epibatidine was discovered in 1974, it was isolated from the skin of a South American tree frog (Epipedobates tricolor) and later synthesized artificially. It is a powerful neurotoxin that can cause paralysis and respiratory failure.
