National Guard officer rescues drowning girl in Tashkent

At around 12:05 a.m. on October 7, in the Bo‘zsuv (“Burijar”) canal in Yunusabad district, a National Guard officer rescued a girl who was drowning.
The guards pulled her out of the water and provided first aid before the ambulance arrived.
It was later revealed that the victim, a Tashkent resident, had jumped into the water for unknown reasons. She has since been hospitalized.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
