Namangan International Airport's upgraded terminal has been put into use

Namangan International Airport's upgraded flyover terminal has been put into use. The total passenger service area of the terminal increased by 2.5 times after Reconstruction. Previously served by 100 people per hour, the rate tripled to 300 passengers per hour.The terminal also installed solar panels covering a specific portion of the electricity needs.A 100-seat parking lot was set up for waiting vehicles and directional traffic.For these purposes, more than 17 billion rubles were spent. In the future, reconstruction of the airport's flyover terminal is also planned."Analyzing the OSH airport next to us, even though it is small in itself, it has great potential in receiving and observing passengers. We also need to apply this on the example of Namangan, because the region is the air gate of the Valley,” said the governor of the region Shavkat Abdurazzakov, who took part in the opening ceremony.After the ceremony, the passengers of the international flight flying from Yekateringburg and the local flight flying from Tashkent were solemnly welcomed in the renovated Terminal.
