Mubashshir Ahmad's health and conditions were investigated

Alisher Tursunov, also known as Mubashshir Ahmad, was found guilty of inciting national and religious hatred and distributing illegal religious materials and was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison. There were reports on social media that his health had deteriorated sharply. Therefore, the regional representative of the Oliy Majlis Representative for Human Rights in Navoi region visited penal colony No. 5. During the visit, Mubashshir Ahmad's health and conditions were investigated.
During the investigation, prisoners, including Mubashshir Ahmad, were interviewed in private, and medical documents regarding his health were examined. Mubashshir Ahmad reported that he does not complain about the quality of medical care in the colony, that he regularly undergoes a full medical examination, that there are only some changes in his health due to pre-existing diseases, and that he receives appropriate medical care.
He also noted that he was voluntarily involved in labor in prison, namely in kitchen work and was not involved in overtime work beyond the working hours established by law. He also did not complain about food supply and living conditions. According to Mubashshir Ahmad, he eats according to the food norm established based on his health. During the interview, the convict Mubashshir Ahmad stated that he would not appeal on any issues.
