Mubashshir Ahmad deported to Uzbekistan

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Alisher Tursunov (Mubashshir Ahmad), who was on the international wanted list, was detained in Turkey on May 8 and deported to Uzbekistan on May 10.
A case was opened against him under Articles 244-1 and 244-3 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of detention was applied. According to the expert's conclusions, the information distributed through the information platforms he founded violated the legislation of Uzbekistan.
Tursunov was detained by Turkish police in December 2023 and placed in the Binkilich deportation center. In February 2024, he returned to his family.
He was previously the founder of the website "Azon.uz", and later launched the portal "Azon Global". The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that he was wanted in February 2025. The investigation is currently ongoing.
