Movement through YPX posts is being simplified in Uzbekistan

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On additional measures for the wide introduction of modern information technologies in the field of road safety" to create additional convenience for road users and automated traffic regulation a decision was made to make changes aimed at improving the system.

Now, vehicles whose insurance policy has expired and which have not undergone technical inspection within the specified period are allowed to drive on the "green" lane. Previously, such vehicles used the "red" lane.

For information, before that, the system of "green" and "red" corridors to ensure the unhindered movement of vehicles at YPX stationary posts was gradually implemented.

The document was published in the national database of legal documents and entered into force on August 15, 2023.

We remind you that from July 7, 2022, testing of this new system began at the stationary post of the "Chinar" road patrol service located in the Tashkent region. The movement of motor vehicles is regulated there based on the principle of "green" and "red" lanes.
