Motorcyclist who fled traffic police in Tashkent sentenced to 15 days in jail

Near the “New Uzbekistan” Park in Tashkent, a motorcyclist refused to comply with traffic police officers’ lawful order to stop and continued riding at high speed.

A video of the incident was shared on social media. Law enforcement officers identified the rider and issued an administrative report against him.

According to the court’s decision, the motorcyclist was sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention.

It was also found that he did not have the required Category A driving license for operating a motorcycle. He only had a Category B license.

Authorities said that additional measures may be taken against him when he applies to collect his motorcycle after serving his detention.
