In Mexico, 27-year-old former beauty queen Carolina Flores Gomez was shot dead in her home. According to surveillance footage, Carolina was killed by her mother-in-law.

Therefore, there are assumptions that the mother-in-law shot her daughter-in-law because she was angry with her son. Carolina recently became a mother, and her 8-month-old baby was left orphaned.
