More than half a ton of gold was exported from Kyrgyzstan to Switzerland in one month

According to the data of the National Statistical Committee in the four-monthly bilateral and foreign trade bulletin for 2023, 598 kg of gold weighing 30.5 g were exported from Kyrgyzstan to Switzerland in April.

According to January-March data, 645 kg and 255.3 g.

The total volume sold to Switzerland for four months is estimated at 78 million 223.9 thousand US dollars. This is an average of $1.62 per 9g, or $1956.9 per ounce. A price close to the value of gold on the London Stock Exchange.

In total, in January-April, Kyrgyzstan exported 1 ton 411 kg 167.9 g for a total of 87 million 922 thousand 749 US dollars:

- China (Hong Kong) - 9 kg 698.859 g in the amount of 167 million 882 thousand 1 dollars. That's an average of $1,796.9 an ounce;

- Switzerland - 1 t 243 kg 285.8 g or 88% of the total.
