More than 200,000 citizens to be sent to work in countries with high wages

On November 20, at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov announced that it is planned to provide more than 200,000 Uzbek citizens with jobs in economically developed countries by 2025. According to Abdulla Aripov, the president has set the government tasks to provide social support to labor migrants and ensure their employment in countries with high wages. “In 2025 alone, it is planned to take measures to provide more than 200,000 citizens with jobs in 21 other economically developed countries, including Germany, Great Britain, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Israel, Canada, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and similar countries,” Aripov said.
The prime minister also said that all conditions will be created for citizens wishing to work abroad to learn professional skills and foreign languages.
