More than 200,000 Chinese tourists visited Uzbekistan

In recent years, Uzbekistan has implemented large-scale reforms aimed at attracting tourists from China. As a result, 2025 was declared the "Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in China," and tourism roadshows were held in major cities and remote regions across the country. Uzbekistan also participated with national stands at tourism exhibitions in Xi’an, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.

To strengthen ongoing cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries, more than 500 tourism companies took part in B2B meetings, and over 40 cooperation agreements were signed.

In addition, the introduction of a visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and China starting from June 1, 2025, created broader opportunities for the industry. As a result, from January to October 2025, 217,000 Chinese tourists visited Uzbekistan.
