More than 11,000 men in Uzbekistan married older women in 2025
In 2025, 11,040 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan in which the bride was older than the groom. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
The largest number of such marriages was registered in Tashkent — 1,809.
It was followed by Khorezm Region — 1,066, Kashkadarya — 995, Bukhara — 979, and Samarkand — 967 marriages. The lowest figure was recorded in Syrdarya Region, where 240 marriages in which the bride was older than the groom were registered.
