More than 1,100 foreigners immigrated to Uzbekistan for permanent residence
In 2025, 1,159 people immigrated to Uzbekistan from abroad for permanent residence. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee. According to statistics, the largest share of immigrants, 39.9 percent, falls on Russia. In particular, 20.3 percent came from Kazakhstan, 10.3 percent from the Republic of Tajikistan, 4.3 percent from the Kyrgyz Republic, and 3.1 percent from Turkmenistan. The remaining 22.1 percent are citizens from other countries. Also, 698 citizens settled in Tashkent, and 275 in the Tashkent region. The indicators in the remaining regions are relatively lower.
