Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly receiving treatment at Putin's palace hospital

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Jarida, Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was flown to Moscow in a secret operation on a Russian military plane due to health problems and underwent surgery there.

The newspaper's source noted that Putin, during a conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian last week, offered to treat Mojtaba Khamenei in Russia. Iranian officials then considered and approved the proposal. Currently, Mojtaba Khamenei is reportedly being treated in a private clinic in one of Putin's residences in Moscow under the supervision of Russian and Iranian doctors.

Earlier, it was reported that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured. Some sources even say that he lost a leg.

The US State Department has also announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on key figures in Iran's leadership, including the country's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
