Mirziyoyev Meets Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces

Upon arriving in Islamabad, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Global Industry and Defence Solutions” company and held a meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir, Commander of Pakistan’s Land Forces.

The meeting focused on strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, military and defence-technical cooperation, coordinating efforts to counter security threats, training military specialists, exchanging experience, and conducting joint exercises.

Additionally, discussions covered accelerating infrastructure projects in transport and logistics, as well as preparing a “roadmap” for military cooperation. The President reviewed the company’s developments and modern examples of Pakistan’s military equipment.
