Mirziyoyev and Tokayev met in a narrow circle

On August 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was officially welcomed at his residence in Okorda. The first session of the Supreme Interstate Council was held under the chairmanship of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Qasim-Jomart Tokayev. In the framework of the visit, meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Businessmen, a business forum, political consultations, a forum of analytical centers, and intellectual games were successfully held. The parties also discussed the current issues of further development and deepening of strategic partnership and alliance relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

At the end of the negotiations, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Qasim-Jomart Tokayev to visit Uzbekistan to hold the second session of the High Interstate Council.
