Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Qatar discussed important issues

On June 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Soni, the urgent issues of speeding up the implementation of agreements and agreements reached during the state visit to Uzbekistan in June of this year.

At the beginning of the phone conversation, the heads of state congratulated each other on Eid al-Adha, which is holy for the entire Muslim community, and wished peace, prosperity and sustainable development to the people of the two countries.

A unanimous opinion was expressed that the high-level meeting held in Samarkand brought bilateral relations to a new level in terms of quality and enriched them with concrete content.

The leaders reviewed the progress of the implementation of the joint decisions adopted in the trade-economic, investment, transport-communication and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The importance of promoting projects in "green" energy, finance, infrastructure, transport and logistics, construction and other sectors was noted.

Opinions were also exchanged on the most urgent issues of the international and regional agenda.
