Mirziyoyev and Putin meet in Beijing

On September 2, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks in Beijing. At the meeting, issues of strengthening strategic partnership, development of trade and economic cooperation, acceleration of joint projects and expansion of ties in the fields of Culture, Science and education were discussed. Putin congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day.
