Minor dies in Damas and BYD collision in Fergana

On January 30, a Damas and BYD collided in the Oltiariq district of Fergana region. It turned out that a citizen born in 2004 was issued an administrative report for driving a BYD Song EV without proper documents and was being taken to the penalty area by a traffic police inspector when the driver of the Damas, a minor born in 2007, drove off the secondary road onto the main road, causing an accident. As a result, the child driving the Damas died in hospital from his injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated into the incident. Investigations are currently underway.
