Ministers of Labor of Russia and Tajikistan discussed the problem of migrants

They reviewed the implementation of previously signed agreements in the field of labor migration, the meeting of the parties took place in Moscow

Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan Gulnora Khasanzoda met with Deputy Minister of Labor and Employment of the Russian Federation Elena Mukhtiyarova in Moscow.

This was announced by a representative of the department of the republic.

It is noted that the main issue was the implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda on the issue of labor migration.

According to the representative of the Ministry of the Republic, the parties also discussed the following topics:

implementation of an agreement between the governments of the two countries on the organized involvement of citizens of Tajikistan in temporary work on the territory of Russia;

preparation of labor migrants before the trip, improvement of their professional training in primary vocational education institutions and adult training centers, taking into account the requirements of the Russian labor market and the possibility of their professional training by Russian employers.

The Ministry of Tajikistan recalled that since 2019 an agreement has been in force between the two countries on the organized involvement of citizens of the republic in temporary labor activity in Russia.

At the same time, a "road map" was signed, which includes specific measures to implement the agreements.

There will be more labor migrants in Russia by 2030

The department noted that a representative office "Passport and Visa Service" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was opened in Tajikistan for medical examinations, fingerprinting, passing tests for knowledge of the Russian language, history and legislation of the Russian Federation.

On the territory of the republic, in order to attract citizens, conditions have been created for working at industrial, agricultural and construction enterprises in Russia.

It is noted that during the meeting, the ministers expressed their readiness to constantly strengthen cooperation in these areas and develop bilateral relations.
