Ministers of Justice of the CIS countries arrived in Dushanbe

Ministers of Justice from a number of CIS countries gathered in the capital of Tajikistan to discuss the current agenda and the development of further cooperation

The 17th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States began in Dushanbe.

It is noted that the Chairman of the Council is the Minister of Justice of Tajikistan Muzaffar Ashurien.

Representatives of relevant authorities from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan take part in the event.

During the meeting, issues of legal regulation of certain areas of activity of the Ministries of Justice of the Commonwealth member states will be discussed.

In addition, the participants plan to consider the possibility of free legal assistance to citizens of the CIS, as well as approaches to optimizing the regulatory legal acts of the Commonwealth countries.

Tajikistan took part in joint anti-terrorist exercises of the CIS and SCO

The ministers will also discuss the development of cooperation between authorized bodies within the CIS.

Let us remind you that on September 21, a meeting of experts was held to prepare materials for the 17th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states.
